Breast cancer assessment update

On Monday, May 13, 2024, the results for the HealthAdvisor breast cancer assessment for users aged 40 years or older will be updated based on new, stronger screening guidelines:

• Updated result: at a minimum, a moderate "at risk" overall result and users will be encouraged to speak with a healthcare provider.
• Previous result: "likely low risk at this time" as age was not considered an absolute factor so the result was based on the combination of assessment answers.

This change is due to the United States Preventive Services Task Force’s updated recommendation that all women start getting screened for breast cancer every other year starting at age 40 . To view the details directly, please click here.
